WOODLAND, CALIFORNIA - I am writing because of the recent article in The Democrat. Homosexuality is not a disease. It all starts with a thought and then the thought leads to an action. Just like when a thief decides to steal: He first thinks about stealing and then has a choice to give into the thought or to have self-control.
I happen to have a relative who was previously in a homosexual relationship. Our family prayed for the person, accepted the person but not the lifestyle that the person chose to live. There is a vast difference. The person came out of homosexuality and is now living a fruitful heterosexual lifestyle. Homosexuals can control their lust, just like everyone else. They claim to be the only people in the world who don't have self-control, but it's a lie. Stop believing the lie. Stand up for yourself, your marriages, your children and future generations. I would like to hear from others who came out of the homosexual lifestyle. Stand up and speak hope, not hopelessness, selfishness and despair.
