Sultry singer Nelly Furtado, some may be curious to learn, has opened up her dark side in an interview with European magazine GUS, a gay pub that recently landed what some will surely find a hot interview with this mysterious brunette.
Apparently, the Canadian songstress admits she's attracted to women and believes all people are essentially bisexual, and that they hould have the freedom to experiment with their sexuality.
She tells GUS, "I'm reading a book about Chinese medicine, which claims that people are inherently bisexual to balance their energies. And, in a way, that makes so much sense. As humans we have both male and female energies."
Unfortunately, she uses the late suicide victim singer Kurt Cobain as a reference point on the subject, taking away from her serious Chinese studies:
"I believe Kurt Cobain's statement that, in the end, everyone is gay. Everybody should have the freedom to experiment. I believe sexual experimentation is part of human history."
Yes, but does that make it right?
At any rate, the name of her new album, Promiscous, adds a little spice to her statement regarding her personal expressions regarding her own sexual attraction to women, "Absolutely! Women are beautiful and sexy!"
