Hotel Won't Allow Gay Couple To Share Same Bed

Blow JobA hotel boss locked a gay couple outside overnight rather than let them share a bed — then threatened them with a “GUN”, a court heard.
Robert Bush, 60, thought allowing the men to sleep together would tarnish the upmarket reputation of his picture postcard village.
And he told the pair locals would “take the mickey” if they found he had let them share.
Partners Kevin Smith and Jose Ruiz, both London businessmen in their 30s, were confronted by Mr Bush after arriving at his hotel in Overton, Hants.
After an argument, he agreed to give them a room. But on their return from a party they found they had been locked out — and were forced to spend the night at a friend’s house. When they went back in the morning they claimed smirking Mr Bush pointed the “gun” and yelled: “I’m a bloody good shot!”
Police arrested the hotelier, Winchester Crown Court was told. They found a licensed rifle and shotgun and charged him with possession of a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence.
Mr Ruiz told the court: “I was extremely frightened. I thought Mr Bush was going to shoot us.” But Mr Bush insisted the “gun” was a spike used to pierce a beer barrel — and that he had been threatening to throw it.
The hotelier, who has since sold the inn, said: “I’m not homophobic, but in this village everyone watches everyone else. I’d have had the mickey taken.” He was found not guilty.
