A police worker has quit after he was caught looking at gay porn on his computer - by the chief constable.Suffolk chief Alastair McWhirter spotted the pictures on the admin employee's screen as he walked past.
"He was absolutely livid - he went up the wall," said an insider at police HQ in Martlesham, near Ipswich.
The employee, who is married with children, resigned after he was officially reprimanded by senior officers for the "inappropriate use of police equipment."
The insider added: "It's an embarrassment to the force too."
All material viewed on police computers is supposed to be monitored by police IT staff.
