ATHENS - A Greek bus driver has been suspended for three days for forcing two married gay men off his bus in Athens even though they were being harassed by youths, reports said Friday.
The Athens Urban Transport Organization's (OASA) disciplinary panel rejected the driver's claims that he had asked the men to get off the bus because he feared for the safety of the other passengers, the Greek daily Kathimerini said.
The two men, from Belgium, were being chased by a group of youths and boarded the bus to get away.
The couple reported the incident to authorities.
