Martin Sheen To Produce Gay Sitcom

West Wing star Martin Sheen is moving out of political drama and into comedy production.
Sheen is executive producer of a half-hour sitcom for NBC about a man living with his gay brother and his brother's partner, the Hollywood Reporter said. The show, in development, is as of yet untitled.
The kicker is the man's mother-in-law -- a fundamentalist Christian -- must be kept in the dark about the true nature of the gay couple's relationship.
Brian Bird is writing the script and will co-produce with Sheen, the Reporter said.
