Oscar nominated actor Heath Ledger is reportedly in final negotiations to play the role of a gay man once again in a new movie about screen legend Rock Hudson.Ledger is currently receiving widespread praise and is in line for the Best Actor Award at the upcoming Oscars for his portrayal of a gay cowboy in Ang Lee's controversial film 'Brokeback Mountain'.
Hudson died of AIDS-related illnesses in 1985 and kept his sexual preferences secret for the majority of his high-profile career.
A movie insider told film website Aintitcoolnews.com: "After playing a straight man who has a gay relationship, Heath Ledger will do a 180 and play a gay man who has a straight relationship."

They can't do that. Heath may be a great actor but he is totally wrong for Rock Hudson!
